Global Languages and Cultures
Learn to interact with speakers of other languages in a cross-cultural environment.
The Department of Global Languages and Cultures offers instruction in Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Latin, Russian and Spanish. Our highly qualified and dedicated faculty are ready to help you expand and master your second language proficiency and intercultural competence to enable you to interact effectively with speakers of other languages in real-life situations in the U.S. and abroad.

Knowledge of people and their cultures is important in any profession.
Today's employers work in a global context and recognize the need for individuals who can work in a cross-cultural environment. We invite you to continue to improve your second language skills or explore a new language.
