Athletics and Recreation

Sport clubs and intramurals are crowd-pleasers at UD, and nearly 60 percent of our students participate. From volleyball to lacrosse, ice hockey to Ultimate Frisbee, our students field hundreds of teams in a wide variety of sports — even dodgeball.

This 125,000-square-foot facility has everything you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle, from a rock climbing wall, to basketball courts, to fitness classes, an Aquatic Center and more. Memberships are open to UD students, faculty, staff, alumni and affiliates.

A little fresh air can make a big difference in your education. Through group-based challenges that test you physically and mentally, you'll forge new friendships, gain confidence and cultivate leadership skills.

One of the largest turf fields in the country, Stuart Field is where most sport clubs and intramural games are held. When the field isn't in use, it's the perfect place to enjoy an impromptu game with friends.
