Art and Design
Shape and interpret information and communicate visually.
Graphic designers shape, interpret and translate information as visual communicators linked at the intersection of art and technology. The BFA in Graphic Design prepares students for success beginning with art and design foundation work that progresses to intensive graphic design courses with experiential and service learning components, allowing for practical application of a growing skill set. Paired with a comprehensive liberal arts education, our program prepares students to thrive as adaptable critical thinkers in a range of professional careers including: branding, packaging; environmental, web, interaction and production design; digital, marketing, social media and user experience design.
