Urban Teacher Academy
Students who are interested in urban teaching learn more competencies so they can understand and respond to the needs and challenges of urban students, families and schools.
Bombeck Family Learning Center
Preschool to Grade 5 students actively participate in the classrooms at this 5-star rated facility, learning best practices as they prepare to become teachers. Student Teaching
Students are placed in local schools from the beginning, completing observation hours and assignments as part of their coursework. Field-based experiential learning continues through the final student teaching internship.
The Brain Health Collective, along with multiple local organizations, will host a Fall Resource Fair at Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley on October 22 from 3 – 7 p.m. The resource fair is open to the public.
