Institute for Pastoral Initiatives
The Chaminade Video Lecture Series is an opportunity for the campus community as well as University alumni to be introduced to the outstanding research and major contributions of the faculty in the Department of Religious Studies in the field of theological, biblical, ethical and pastoral theology. With contemporary issues facing the Church, society and the world today, the Chaminade Video Lecture Series explores a few of these issues and invites the campus and alumni to engage with our religious studies faculty for stimulating great intellectual, ethical and pastoral conversations.
Blessed William Joseph Chaminade called the laity to be engaged with the world. Chaminade understood that in changing times humanity needed to bridge the gap of faith and reason into a meaningful experience to bring about transformation within the culture. Our series attempts to be a bridge between faculty and the greater University community.

The Chaminade Video Lecture Series is made possible through a partnership between the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives, the Department of Religious Studies and the University of Dayton Alumni Association.
