In-person residential Summer Engineering Experiences at the University of Dayton (SEE-UD) are back! This year, we will be offering in person and virtual options to rising high school students. Our experiences will expose you to the world of engineering and student life at the University of Dayton. You will have the opportunity to explore the diverse fields of engineering through collaborative and interactive, faculty-led sessions.
Summer Experience Highlights
Through our residential and virtual summer camps:
- Engage with faculty, engineering professionals and students, along with opportunities to meet with representatives from industry.
- Explore the diverse fields of engineering through interactive sessions. Guided by University faculty, you'll discover what distinguishes engineering disciplines through modules, which will show how engineers tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing society.
- Discover ways students can get involved in and beyond the classroom.
- Learn about the college admission process, along with UD specifics.
Eligibility
- Residential Experiences
- Our residential camps are open to high school students entering 11th or 12th grade in the fall of 2022.
- Residential camps have limited capacity and will fill on a first come, first serve basis.
- Requirements: 3.0 GPA
- If you are not eligible for the residential experience, consider attending our Virtual Experience!

- Virtual Experience
- Our virtual camp is open to high school students entering any year of high school (9th, 10th, 11th or 12th) in the fall of 2022.
- No minimum requirements for the virtual experience. There is limited availability and spaces will be given on a first come first serve basis.

Cost
- $425 for 4-day/3-night camps
- $25 for 5-day virtual camp
While some of the camps are focused towards a specific gender or ethnicity, please know that all participants are welcome to attend any camp.
