Women Engineering Program

The Women Engineering Program (WEP) is committed to providing women engineering students with opportunities for networking, service and academic growth, as well as social activities to bring them and fellow students closer. We help connect students to resources on campus and to information on jobs, scholarships and opportunities.

We welcome and invite all members of our campus community to participate in the WEP with the goal of creating and upholding an engineering community that celebrates diversity academically, professionally and socially.

Network. Service. Academic Growth.

In partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences, the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) integrated living learning community is designed to create a community rooted in aligned academic interests and women supporting women.

A means to build real relationships and have real conversations with women that have already done it, the WISE Mentoring Program gives first-year students the scaffolding to success while building lifelong friendships.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) chapter at UD is part of a larger national network of engineering students and professionals working together to ensure women are exposed to professional development and job opportunities in engineering.

Our University of Dayton student clubs and organizations are dedicated to the academic and professional success of engineering students and offer professional activities, mentoring opportunities and more.
