UD Flyers for Life at the March for Life
January 23-January 25/26, 2020
2020 Itinerary
Thursday, January 23
- Meet at 6:30 pm. Leave campus from Marianist Hall at 7:00 pm and bus will drive to D.C. through the night.
FRIday, January 24
- arrive at The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception around 5:30 am.
- The Basilica will conclude the National Prayer Vigil for Life with Holy Mass in the Great Upper Church at 7:30 AM
- go to the March for Life
- after the March, there will be plenty of time for sight-seeing.
- get dinner on your own and meet at Union Station at the end of the day
- stay at a local parish. BRING A SLEEPING BAG. We'll be sleeping on the floor.
Saturday, January 25
- National Pro-Life Summit. See https://prolifesummit.com/ for details on this exciting conference planned by Students for Life of America. See the schedule here.
- Bus will pick up conference attendees and leave for Dayton around 8:00pm. Bus should arrive back at UD in the early morning (around 4:00am) on Sunday, January 26.
Total Cost Per Student:
Thanks to very generous donations from donors and the President's Office, the cost per student will be only $25. That includes the bus ride, lodging, National Pro-Life Summit, breakfast and lunch on Friday and all meals on Saturday, and a scarf! Dinner on Friday as well as any snacks will be at your expense. If you are paying by cash or check, you must turn in money to Campus Ministry's Center for Social Concern (Liberty Hall RM 107) by November 11th.
