Campus Ministry's Center for Social Concern will bring a small group of students to the Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice in Washington, DC on Saturday-Monday, October 28-30, 2023. To be considered, please complete the application by September 25

IFTJ is the largest annual Catholic social justice conference in the U.S. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be challenged and inspired by internationally-renowned keynotes, attend interactive breakouts, and connect with hundreds of students based on your areas of interest and activism. On Monday, head to Capitol Hill ready to advocate on migration and climate justice with 1,500+ of your new justice-loving friends.

  • Get ready to be empowered, energized, inspired, challenged, and supported by a community of all ages that sees faith and justice integrally linked.
  • Connect with nearly 2,000 fellow students and other advocates for justice as you build your faith and justice network at IFTJ!
  • Hear from dynamic speakers on topics including racial justice, immigration, environmental justice, and restorative justice—both on the mainstage and through three unique breakout sessions.
  • Visit with 50+ exhibitors to explore justice-oriented opportunities for volunteering, faith, advocacy.
  • Pray and take action for justice with fellow IFTJ attendees—through prayer and liturgy, public witness, and advocacy opportunities throughout the weekend!

Campus Ministry's Center for Social Concern will cover conference fees, hotel, airfare and metro fare to and from the airport. You will be responsible for your meals and any other incidental expenses.
