Accessibility Assistance
The University Libraries are committed to creating inclusive and accessible spaces, resources and services for all students, faculty, staff and community members.
Building Information
- Floor maps indicate noise levels, wheelchair accessibility and relative room sizes.
- Task lighting is available in most study rooms.
- Help is available in the first-floor lobby at the Hello desk or at Information Point.
- Signage is posted throughout the building with numbers to call or text for library assistance.
- Gender-neutral accessible restrooms with changing tables are located on the first and second floors.
Parking and Accessible Entrances
A parking pass is typically required. The nearest accessible parking spaces to the Roesch Library are in:
- L Lot
- B Lot
- Garden Apartments or GAS Lot
- P Lot near the Visitor Center
Both the east and west entrances to the Roesch Library building are accessible with automatic door openers. Ramps are located on the north side of the building. View the campus map or get directions and more parking information.
Assistive Technology
- Library computers are located on the first and second floors and are equipped with NVDA assistive screen reading software.
- Two height-adjustable workstations are on the first floor and six dual-monitor workstations are on the second floor.
- The Collab, Room 240, includes a height-adjustable podium.
