Resources for Students with Disabilities
Recognizing Disabilities & Enhancing Possibilities.
The Office of Learning Resource (OLR) ensures that students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities at the University of Dayton so they can participate in all facets of university life. The University of Dayton is committed to including individuals with disabilities as full participants in its programs, services and activities through compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
To receive accommodations at UD, all incoming and current students must complete the Accommodations Request Process. Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis.
To successfully transition from high school to the college environment, it is important for students with disabilities to have accurate knowledge of their disabilities and to understand their rights and responsibilities at the college level.
Confidentiality
Our office is dedicated to keeping all personal student information confidential and complies with the standards set by the Family Education Records and Privacy Act (FERPA), applicable federal and/or state law and university practice.
