Libraries Advisory Council

The University Libraries Advisory Council assists the dean and others in continuously improving the quality of the Libraries’ programs.

University Libraries Committee

The University Libraries Committee advises the dean of University Libraries and formulates standards and policy recommendations for the continual improvement and development of the Libraries. It also evaluates the Libraries’ services and holdings and serves as a liaison between users and the Libraries’ administration.

Representation and Terms

The committee is typically composed of four representatives from the College of Arts and Sciences; at least one representative from each professional school; a graduate student; and an undergraduate.

The faculty terms are for three years and are generally renewed one time. Student terms vary from one to three years.
