An Online MBA for Every Experience Level

At the University of Dayton, you can tailor your online MBA curriculum to your background. If you have relevant undergraduate or professional experience, you may be eligible for our one-year or accelerated program paths.

Admission

The University of Dayton is looking for ambitious, service-oriented leaders to join our online MBA community. To be considered for admission, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Learn more about our application requirements and see upcoming deadlines here.

Online MBA GMAT Waiver

You can receive a waiver for the GMAT/GRE score requirement if you have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 or three or more years of relevant full-time work experience. If you qualify for the waiver,  you may still submit scores if you feel they will improve your application. Learn more about the GMAT waiver policy.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year is $1,460 per credit hour. This rate begins with the July 2023 term. You are also responsible for immersion travel expenses and fees, which are not included in the cost of tuition. Learn more about tuition and financial aid here.

Curriculum

The University of Dayton online MBA curriculum will prepare you to navigate the business world. You will gain practical knowledge that you can immediately apply to your organization or community, and study topics including:

• Fundamental business skills such as finance, economics and integrated strategy
• Ethical decision-making and how to lead an organization with integrity
• The role of business in creating a strong community
• How to integrate your learning and develop holistic strategies to sustain and grow your business

MBA Concentrations Online

In our online MBA program, you can pursue a concentration to gain specialized skills in a particular field. By adding a concentration to your course of study, you will:

• Tailor your learning experience to your professional interests
• Demonstrate expertise in your concentration area to your employers
• Boost your resume to advance or transition into a new career

Each concentration requires you to take three electives, for a total of 9 credits. You may choose to take additional credits and complete both concentrations.

Marketing

Discover techniques to enhance branding, sales and value proposition strategies so that you can execute and defend marketing efforts to achieve business goals.

Immersions

These in-person learning experiences are opportunities to apply topics covered in the online classroom to real-world business challenges. During immersions, you will:

• Engage in collaborative group workshops
• Experience the connection between leadership and service
• Learn from industry leaders at panels

Additionally, you will expand on relationships built in the classroom with your peers and UD School of Business Administration faculty. By networking at immersions, you will make invaluable connections with professionals who share your values and experiences in the UD community.

As a student, you will attend at least two immersions, one which will take place on the University of Dayton campus in Dayton, Ohio.
