Admission Requirements
The School of Business Administration offers a program leading to a Master of Business Administration degree. Concentrations are available in the areas of cyber-security, finance, and marketing.
Online MBA (Domestic/International)

GMAT/GRE scores are not required to apply. However, they may be requested in some circumstances for a final admission decision.
A current, professional resume with detailed work experience is required.
A personal statement is optional. Please use the optional statement to address areas of your academic and/or professional histories that may benefit from further clarification. For example, the optional statement could include details on gaps in work experience, circumstances surrounding poor academic performance/disciplinary actions, or explanations concerning legal disciplinary action. As with the admission essay, this statement should also be well-written and reflect your writing abilities. The optional statement should be no more than one page, double-spaced. Please include your name and date of birth.
The Online MBA program requires two professional letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a current or former supervisor who is familiar with your competencies, abilities, and qualifications. Personal and peer references will not be accepted and should not be submitted. Up to two additional letters of recommendation will be accepted, but are not required.
All applicants must submit official transcripts of previously attended higher educational institutions. A GPA of 3.0 is preferred. Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to the University of Dayton through a transcript platform or to transcripts@udayton.edu. If entering an email address is not an option, enter or select University of Dayton.
All international students without a U.S. degree are required to submit English proficiency scores meeting specific requirements. Use the link below to learn more about the English Proficiency Options. Scores should be sent directly to the University of Dayton from the testing center using code 1834.
F-1 and J-1 students must provide a letter of financial support and a bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover the first year of study.

If you are an international student planning on attending the Online MBA program, you are expected to complete all courses online from your home country, as the online program does not make you eligible for a student visa (including F-1 and J-1 students already in the U.S.). Note that international students are eligible for a student visa if admitted to an on-campus graduate program.
For the student with a non-business degree, or who lacks coursework or work experience in key areas of undergraduate business study, foundation modules are required. The modules are online, self-paced, non-credit bearing, pass/fail. The admissions staff will determine how many (up to 5) of these modules may be required
The University of Dayton offers a limited number of graduate assistantships which are available on a competitive basis.
