Business Analytics (B.S.B.A.)

Drive Business Decisions by Leveraging Data

Help provide businesses with valuable insights to drive growth and efficiency with our business analytics major.

The Business Analytics major provides students with the business and technical skills to analyze information, discover new insights, and apply actionable knowledge to help make strategic business decisions.

As this major is offered within the School of Business Administration, it strongly emphasizes business principles coupled with corporate experiences to contextualize statistically based analyses. Focus is placed on applying analytical tools and techniques to interpret and assess data to develop actionable insights to help organizations make better business decisions, identifying and leveraging future opportunities.

Every business needs data to make informed decisions to help leverage opportunities and tackle challenges across all areas, from finance to marketing and supply chain to accounting. Business Analytics students can pursue a double major in any of our business majors to further specialize their analytical skills in a specific business area and gain a competitive edge when applying for internships and full-time positions.

First-time students admitted to the School of Business Administration in Fall 2023 or later are eligible to declare Business Analytics as a major. Students admitted prior to Fall 2023 can declare Business Analytics as a major and begin taking Business Analytics courses during the 2023-2024 academic year.
