Women’s History Month 2024

Women of UD Exhibit

In honor of Women's History Month, the Women's Center coordinates an annual exhibit highlighting the contributions women have made at the University of Dayton community and beyond, both past and present. The exhibit features faculty, staff, students, and alumna who role modeled an holistic approach in practice by naming the challenges of showing up fully as well as finding room to be flexible with the highs and lows of life, for themselves and others. Women who relinquish the need to be seen as “having it all” when in reality that may mean sacrificing aspects of life. Women who represent these qualities by guaranteeing that others (peers, colleagues, classmates, alumna, etc.) have space to express themselves fully. Every woman on campus should be able to show up fully and this year’s call to action is a way to begin the conversation and applaud those who lead by example and make space for others to do the sameThe honorees were nominated by the campus community and selected by a dedicated group of students, faculty, and staff.  The honorees were photographed Professor Glenna Jenning's students Elena Bellisario,Rhonda Corbin, Sebastian De Leon Osorio, Maggie Endres, Jayonna Johnson, Jet Lex, Jake Owens, Luke Perry, Kaylee Peters, and Staci Zartman-Robb supported by Shon Curtis.
