Tarik Alkharusi ’16
Alkharusi is a researcher at Imperial College London. He recently funded the solar project testing station for Dayton Thermal Applications lab to help the community continue to develop diverse solutions while providing valuable early career experiences for students.

Bay City, Michigan
Bryan Borodkin ’20
Borodkin is a senior law clerk for a federal judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. As a law student, he published a legal reform note on excessive force that was cited by the National Urban League on an issue before the U.S. Supreme Court. He also serves as a mentor through the Alumni Mentoring Program.

Sarah Brightfield ’22
Brightfield is a project engineer on a $636 million wastewater treatment project. She is a former AmeriCorps project manager for home repair in Appalachian areas, and she traveled to all 50 states in a big, yellow van after graduation.

Allison Dudek ’21
Dudek owns her own jewelry business, Champagne Day Boutique. She plans to go to law school next year and is actively engaged in a myriad of service roles (Big Sisters, Emerging Leaders, Women on the Rise, Girls on the Run and more.)

Megan Dunn Peters ’14
Peters is a former school teacher who now works as the marketing and community partnerships manager at the Dayton Arcade. She also coaches the UD Irish dance team.

Anamaria Karrels ’16
Anamaria is a Foreign Service Officer for the United States Government. She works as a U.S. diplomat and has helped with efforts to teach underprivileged youth English and STEM skills.

Asia Roebuck Lewis ’16
Lewis is a Quality Engineer at Evenflo. She also flips houses with her husband to provide higher-quality, low-income housing for those in need in the Dayton community.

Denver
Erin Mohney ’16
Mohney is the director of operations at Food Bank of the Rockies, where she has worked for five years serving her community. Prior to this, she spent two years as a volunteer for AmeriCorps.

Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
Iván Rodríguez ’15
Rodríguez is the vice president of engineering at One Energy Renewables, a company his job application was once rejected from. He returned to Puerto Rico in 2017 to work for FEMA in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Maggie Sheehan ’16
Sheehan works in agriculture stakeholder relations in the Ohio Department of Agriculture. She is the career development chair for the Columbus Alumni Community and also volunteers with the Statehouse Civil Scholar Program.
