Giving & Growth

Total giving eclipsed $60 million for the second year in a row, making the past two years our highest fundraising years ever! At our five highest giving levels, which range from $100K to $10M+, nearly 80% of these donors gave at that level for the very first time. Additionally, cash gifts grew by $1.7M over last year, for a total of $36.7M. This trend in generosity was seen almost across the board. Our alumni, friends, parents, faculty and staff — they all outpaced last year’s record-setting total, in dollars or total donors.

Protecting Our Future

PRUDENCE & PERFORMANCE

In the past year, our endowment and long-term investment pool have grown by $100M to reach $1.2B. This investment in current and future Flyers is our legacy. And, in addition to 15 new bequests to the endowment, 17 Flyer families amended their planned gifts to increase support to UD, helping us to ensure the future of our Catholic, Marianist University forever.
