Summer Financial Aid for Undergraduates
What You Need to Know
Here are some common questions concerning undergraduate student aid for the summer.
The summer tuition rate has been reduced from $1760 to $1025 per credit hour for the summer A, B, and C terms. Your financial aid eligibility will depend on your full-time or part-time status, as well as your FAFSA information.
If you are registered and have a FAFSA on file, your account will be reviewed for federal and/or state grant eligibility. Federal grants require the 2024-2025 FAFSA to be on file and state grants from Ohio require the 2025-2026 FAFSA to be submitted. File your FAFSA and send it to us with our school code of 003127. Contact our office for information about utilizing federal loans, Parent PLUS loans, or private student loans over the summer
Students who register full-time and originally enrolled with a net tuition guarantee will have their financial aid adjusted so that the net tuition guarantee remains in place during the summer term of enrollment.
Students who complete Summer registration by April 1st will have Summer financial aid eligibility updated by April 15th. Students who complete registration after April 1st will have Summer financial aid eligibility updated within 2 weeks of registration.
Federal and state grant funds will be awarded as long as a FAFSA has been submitted. Federal grants require the 2024-2025 FAFSA to be on file and state grants from Ohio require the 2025-2026 FAFSA to be submitted. File your FAFSA and send it to us with our school code of 003127.
If you wish to utilize loan funds during the summer, please contact our office to determine available loan options.
Financial aid is awarded based on your registration and may be adjusted if your enrollment changes.
