Cost Benefit Analysis

UDRI's Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) researchers rapidly and affordably perform quality cost benefit analyses by using an empirical, objective, and data-driven assessment of costs, benefits, and risks.

Capabilities

  • Employ a structured methodology to logically progress through a CBA
  • Provide an empirical, objective and data-driven assessment of costs, benefits, and risks
  • Conduct and report sensitivity analysis on all major cost drivers in the CBA to determine their effect on the benefit-cost relationship between alternatives
  • Calculate the cost of risk mitigation, when necessary, to ascertain the investment required to reduce risk during and after product integration
  • Produce a cost model to capture all quantifiable data and calculate results using sound financial metrics such as Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Benefit-Cost Ratio, and Payback Period
  • Generate a comprehensive technical report with conclusions and recommendations on the financial viability of the product
