Alternative fuels research underway at UDRI

The Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office will launch a sustainment innovation hub

The University of Dayton Research Institute will assist the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office change how the Air Force delivers new and emerging technologies to sustainment efforts across the enterprise. UDRI, which has extensive experience and capabilities in system sustainment, is partnering with the RSO in its newest initiative—Identify-Apply-Scale—a first-of-its-kind capability devoted solely to the sustainment of Air Force systems. The IAS, scheduled to be operational later this year, will serve as an epicenter of identifying, adapting, accelerating and scaling solutions for the Air Force's most significant challenges in aircraft sustainment.
