Guest Housing
Guest houses are available on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible guests. All reservations must be made two weeks in advance of the requested arrival date.
Guest houses are not available for rent during the following periods:
- The entire month of August
- Family Weekend
- Christmas Break
- Spring Break
- March 15-18
- Graduation Weekend
- Reunion Weekend
Eligibility Criteria
- University of Dayton Alumni. All alumni must have graduated four (4) or more years prior to reservation.
- University of Dayton Departmental guests.
- Parents of current University of Dayton students.
- University of Dayton faculty and staff for personal use.
Policies
Pets are NOT permitted in University Guest Housing.
Any evidence of pets in guest housing will result in an additional $100.00 excessive cleaning charge billed to the renter.
Cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made at least 48 business hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Failure to cancel or change any part of the reservation at least 48 business hours in advance will result in a charge for one night's stay.
All cancellations or changes must be made by contacting Housing and Residence Life at (937) 229-3317, or by email at housing@udayton.edu.
All cancellations requested by phone or email must be made between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Each key opens the front and rear exterior entrances to the house. It is recommended guests lock their bedroom door and the exterior doors to the house at all times (including upon departure).
Please return keys to the location where you received them upon departure.
To protect the security of our guests, if keys are not returned immediately upon departure, there will be a $125.00 lock change charge billed to the guest.
In the event of an emergency, please contact Public Safety at 937-229-2121. Guests may dial x92121 from guest houses.
For maintenance requests, please contact Residential Properties Maintenance at 937-229-2049, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Any time after 5:00 pm on Monday through Friday and on weekends please contact Public Safety at 937-229-2121 and a troubleshooter will be dispatched.
Please note daily housekeeping services are not available in guest housing. We ask guests to reuse their bed and bath linens during their stay, and to leave them in their bedroom upon departure.
Please leave the guest house in the condition in which it was provided upon arrival. Additional charges for excessive cleaning will be billed to renter if the house is left damaged or in a state of disarray.
