The Center for Alcohol and Other Drugs Resources and Education (CADRE) empowers students to make well-informed decisions about alcohol and other drug use. 

CADRE provides a variety of services to help students make healthy and responsible decisions regarding alcohol and other drug use. Our services include prevention education, intervention services, and supporting those who do not use alcohol or other drugs. 

The Center for Alcohol and Other Drugs Resources and Education offers consultations to faculty, staff, students, and parents. Students at the University of Dayton are eligible to utilize all prevention and intervention services offered by CADRE. University of Dayton faculty and staff members are encouraged to contact Human Resources at 937-229-2541 for information or services offered related to substance use, such as the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week

National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week (NCAAW) will be held October 15-19, 2018. The purpose of NCAAW is to bring awareness to the potential health, academic, social, or legal risk associated with alcohol use. Throughout the week, a variety of events and programs will be offered to promote safe and healthy decision making.
