Helping You Help Your Future Flyer
At UD, we are here to support your future Flyer — and you — as you navigate the college admission process. Explore this page for helpful information, as well as recordings of the Parent Co-Pilot webinars for families of undergraduate students considering UD.
If you have questions or need additional information, please contact us and let our team know how we can assist you.
Parent Co-Pilot Webinars
Parents and guardians of prospective undergraduate students, we invite you to join us live for Parent Co-Pilot events. In case you missed a live a event, recordings are available.
As a Catholic, Marianist university, we’re committed to helping you support your student's goals with peace of mind. We’ll provide a personalized financial aid offer that shows a clear view of your student’s guaranteed net tuition cost for all four years, plus options available to help pay for out-of-pocket costs. This allows your family to plan your full educational investment with confidence.
We’ll begin sending personalized financial aid offers to admitted students this month, prioritizing students who have filed the FAFSA. When your student’s financial aid offer is ready, they’ll receive an email to let them know they can log in to view the offer in their Admission Account, and the printed packet will follow in the mail.
We’re hosting a number of virtual, regional and on-campus events this spring to answer questions and help future Flyers begin to find their community at UD. Our Admitted Student Days on March 2 and 30 are the perfect opportunity to experience why our medium-sized campus is “just right” for your student to create a home away from home. Your family can meet faculty, explore classrooms and labs, check out housing options, and connect with other future Flyer families.
Families who haven’t had a chance to experience our beautiful and welcoming campus firsthand don’t have to wait until Admitted Student Days. Join us for a visit that suits your schedule, and connect with current students, hear from our admission team and tour campus.
As a reminder, students who apply for admission, visit campus and file the FAFSA by Feb. 1 are eligible for a textbook scholarship worth $500 per semester for four years at UD.
At UD, we help first-year students create a community of peers who will support them throughout their college journeys. Our vision for residential learning goes beyond housing, as we create an integrated learning and living experience across four years. In the Catholic and Marianist tradition, we provide services, programs and facilities that foster leadership, community, civility and faith.
UD guarantees on-campus housing for students who confirm enrollment by May 1 — no additional housing deposit is required. To support students’ growing independence, all rooms in our first-year residence halls include a minifridge and microwave, and each building offers free laundry facilities.
UD Spotlight
Isabella's Story
Growing up in a small town in Puerto Rico, Isabella ’24 never imagined she’d have the opportunity to pursue a college education away from home. Isabella not only thrived at her home away from home and graduated with a degree in entrepreneurship and finance, but she also left a lasting impact on campus.
You're Invited
We hope that you and your student can join us on campus for an upcoming admission event or information session and tour.
