Did you know 10% of UD's undergraduate students are the first in their family to attend and complete post-secondary education at a four-year college or university after high school? That's more than 800 students — and we are here to support every single one.

Student Development Resources
Student Development provides support for all students through a variety of programs. They also have a full page of resources including navigating financial information, common Flyer language and acronyms, information about connecting with UD and additional resources and tips.
The Kessler Scholars Program for the UD Sinclair Academy provides holistic support for a diverse community of high-achieving students who are the first in their family to pursue a four-year college degree.
Combining generous scholarships with cohort-based engagement and individualized guidance, the Kessler Scholars Program provides first-generation college students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed and to thrive at Sinclair, UD and beyond.
