Admitted Student Days

Registration

Students can register for an Admitted Student Day starting in January 2020.

Can't make an admitted student student day? You can contact the academic department directly to schedule an academic appointment.

Get a head start on fall by joining us for First Flyer Day! Learn about academics and campus resources, take a spring tour of campus and ask questions of our current students during a student panel.

Learn more about the Discover Programs and options for undecided students at the University of Dayton. Representatives from our academic programs and admission and financial staff will discuss the support and programing available to students in our Discover Programs.  An optional campus tour is available prior to the event at 12:00 p.m. in the lobby of our student union.  

Learn more about the College of Arts and Sciences. During breakout sessions, you'll learn more about your major at the University of Dayton from those who know it best — our faculty and current students. And if you’re not sure of your major yet, no problem — you can also attend an info session on our discover programs for undecided students. After the event, an optional campus tour is available.

Learn more about the School of Business Administration, tour our facilities, meet students and faculty, visit our trading center, and learn about one of the nations largest student run businesses, Flyer Enterprises. Plus, an optional campus tour is available after the event.

Learn more about the School of Education and Health Sciences. You'll shadow classes, meet the Dean, and tour our classrooms and labs. Plus, you’ll have the chance to talk with peer advisers and selected faculty in an informal setting during the included lunch. Additionally, an optional campus tour is offered after lunch.

Learn more about the School of Engineering and your specific major from current students and faculty. You’ll also hear from the Dean, tour labs, and learn more about experiential learning programs like co-ops and research. An optional campus tour is available prior to the event at 12:00 p.m. in the lobby of our student union.  


Regional Admitted Student Events

Registration

Students can register for the Regional Admitted Student Events starting in January 2020.

Students are invited to spend a couple hours experiencing the University of Dayton community in your neighborhood.

These one-on-one appointments with our admission and financial aid staff are available to answer your questions about financial aid, enrollment steps, academic programs and experiential learning opportunities.

Overnight Visit Program

Tour our first-year residence halls. Meet current students and your future classmates while you spend the night in the RecPlex. Get up early and grab breakfast in Marycrest Dining Hall on the way to an academic experience. During an overnight visit, you can live the UD experience and discover if this is where you belong.

Overnight visits are only available during the spring semester to high school seniors who have been accepted to UD.

Students can register for the Overnight Visit Program starting in January 2020.

All students, regardless of age, who will attend the Overnight Visit Program must complete an overnight visit release form.

Note: Parents and family members are responsible for their own overnight accommodations.


  • Your own clothing (including gym clothes and bathing suits for our Sunday evening activities in the RecPlex)
  • Toiletries
  • A towel for the showers. Showers will be available in the morning, but you must bring your own towel.
  • Bedding (including a pillow, blanket, sleeping bag, and any other bedding needs you may find necessary). You will be sleeping on the floor of our recreational facility. You are welcome to bring a yoga mat, air mattress, or something soft to place under your sleeping bag.
  • Lockers will be available if you would like to secure your belongings. Please bring your own lock.

Multicultural Overnight

What’s life like at the University of Dayton? We invite you to live the Flyer experience during the multicultural overnight program on April 6-7, 2019 and learn more about how our academics, experiential learning and supportive campus environment can prepare you for success as a multicultural student at the University of Dayton. The Multicultural Overnight is hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, and you’ll meet current students, faculty and staff, spend the night on campus, and engage with the multicultural affairs community.
