Book Suggestion
Rome: A Pilgrimage with Mary is the second in a series of lavishly illustrated coffee table books by Father Joseph Roesch, MIC. Exquisitely captured in sumptuous photography, this book takes the reader on a pictorial "pilgrimage" led with Father Joe's observations and commentary through the major churches of Rome dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. Join him as he shares his love of Mary and of Rome, the city that has been his home for over a decade.

The Great Power of the Rosary--Excerpt from John Paul II’s Message for World Youth Day 2003
Dear young people, do not be ashamed to recite the Rosary alone, while you walk along the streets to school, to the university or to work, or as you commute by public transport. Adopt the habit of reciting it among yourselves, in your groups, movements and associations. Do not hesitate to suggest that it be recited at home by your parents and brothers and sisters, because it rekindles and strengthens the bonds between family members. This prayer will help you to be strong in your faith, constant in charity, joyful and persevering in hope.

Pope Francis Invites All Faithful to Pray Rosary in October to Preserve Church Against Attacks by the Devil (Zenit) September 30, 2018
Pope Francis has invited all the faithful--of all the world--to pray a Holy Rosary daily during the entire Marian month of October, it was announced by the Vatican Press Office on September 29, 2018.
According to the press office communique, the Holy Father wants all to join in communion and in penitence, as the people of God, in asking the Holy Mother of God and Saint Michael, the Archangel, to protect the Church from the devil, who always seeks to separate us from God and from each other....

Order Begins New Marian Prayer Program (Columbia) October 15, 2018
At the conclusion of Mass on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, the Knights of Columbus ( K of C) inaugurated its eighteenth Marian prayer program, featuring a pilgrim image titled Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians. K of C jurisdiction leaders processed with framed copies of the image, which was created by Italian iconographer Fabrizio Diomedi and commissioned by the Supreme Council.
