UD Spotlights: Flyers Embracing Global Experiences

International Education Week is a collaborative initiative celebrating the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. For us here at the University of Dayton, International Education Week is October 28 through November 4. The Center for International Programs (CIP) invites you to participate in the week long initiative featuring a variety of programs and events for the campus community. Programs include global game night, language workshops, festivals, and more.

This year, a key feature of IEW will share the personal and professional stories from members of our campus community. These stories, “UD Spotlights: Flyers Embracing Global Experiences”, will highlight several faculty, staff and students who were asked to reflect upon their experiences that had positive impact on their passion for international education and exchange. Ranging from stories about childhood memories to connections in unexpected places, the breadth of these spotlights will keep you engaged and wanting to learn more. Look for these stories in three different iterations of the IEW newsletters by signing up here, or on the CIP’s blog site, “International UD”.

IEW is a joint collaboration sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, and is part of efforts to prepare students for a global environment by studying, learning and exchanging experiences. A number of institutions across the country acknowledge and celebrate this week
