Flyer Fever Spreads Internationally Through Work of Engineering Students
By Kelly Garrow
This is second year for the Chinese broadcast, which draws an audience of up to 1000 listeners.
In addition to partnerships with 10 Chinese universities, the University of Dayton China Institute in the Suzhou Industrial Park is a permanent Flyer presence in China, one of the world's fastest growing economic regions and home to a third of the world's Fortune 500 companies.
Zhou and Shi came to Dayton as part of the 3 + 1 Engineering Technology Program with Shanghai Normal University and received bachelor’s degrees from UD in 2015. They continued their studies in the University’s nationally-recognized Electro-Optics graduate program.
With the start of March Madness less than a week away, UD is in the national spotlight as the University of Dayton Arena will be the host site for the 2017 NCAA First Four on Tuesday, March 15 and Wednesday, March 15. The Flyers will also be participating in the tourney as A-10 Champions.
