Why I Love UD
I love EVERYTHING about UD. I have never felt more at home since I became a Flyer in 2019. I have been able to grow personally and professionally with the resources that UD has provided me. The friendships and bonds that I built here are so strong and will continue to last a lifetime. Campus is my favorite place to be and I am so excited to serve the university in a new role as a graduate assistant - I am so thankful for the opportunities that UD provides. They have made me both a better student and professional.
Biography
B.A. in Psychology, University of Dayton ‘23
Current master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, University of Dayton
Born and raised in the Dayton area, I have always marveled at the culture and community that is the University of Dayton. I never thought I could attend UD due to the cost it would be to my family. Being a member of the third cohort of the Flyer Promise Scholars Program has allowed me to not only attend - but succeed at UD as well as pursue graduate school. During my time as an undergraduate, I served in various roles with 4 Paws for Ability, Student Transitions and Family Programs, and Community Standards and Civility. As a first generation college student, UD has never failed to make me feel like I am right where I belong. In my free time, I enjoy listening to Taylor Swift, watching TV, and seeing a show in downtown Dayton at the Schuster Center.
