American Talent Initiative: Closing the Gap

UD is expanding the impact of our own efforts to recruit and support students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds by sharing our best practices through the American Talent Initiative, an alliance of 100 of the nation’s top-performing colleges and universities. Collectively, we are working to expand access — with a shared goal of educating 50,000 additional high-achieving, lower-income students by 2025.

UD Sinclair Academy

Our partnership with Sinclair College eases the pathway to a four-year degree — and makes it more affordable. Academy students lock in UD tuition rates, and they're eligible for UD merit scholarships worth up to $29,000. Students are part of both campus communities from day one, and they have access to UD facilities and amenities — including athletic events, peer mentoring and student clubs — while taking classes at Sinclair.
