Police officers from the University's Department of Public Safety celebrated Valentine's Day by sending greetings to children who spent their February 14th as patients at Dayton Children's Hospital. The hospital collected Valentine greetings from the Dayton community to share with its little patients and the efforts resulted in some big smiles and fantastic door decorations.

The department received an email with photos of the kids who had received the Valentine's cards. Many of our officers are parents whose children have benefited from the care and expertise of Dayton Children's. The hospital does a fantastic job of welcoming community efforts to brighten the inpatient stays. We loved the chance to give back to the hospital that does so much for our community by sharing the love with its patients.
