Honoring our Department's Veterans

The Department of Public Safety, comprised of the University's police department, emergency communications center and parking services, has a long history of service to the campus community. Many of the department's personnel have a history of serving the greater community as veterans of our nation's military.

Chief Savalas Kidd recognized those in the department who have served via a department-wide greeting sent on Veterans Day. The following personnel were recognized for their service:

Assistant Chief Kevin Petrocelli

Captain Joe Cairo

Officer Kevin Bernhardt

Officer Tony Cloyd

Officer Zach Newsome

Officer Eric Roth

Officer Mike Sipes

Communication Supervisor Tony Baldridge

Communication Specialist Dave Wheeler

Supervisor of Parking Services Todd Hunt

We are grateful to all those who served and are especially proud of those within our department who are veterans.
