University of Dayton Research Institute: Vice Presidents Office
Profile
Dr. Sukh Sidhu is the Vice President for the University of Dayton Research Institute where he is responsible for leading and growing the institute. Previously, as Director of Research and Development, Dr. Sidhu oversaw the operations of UDRI's eight technical divisions. He also played a substantial role in building new business and growing annual revenue, meeting regularly with divisional and technical leaders to strategize on new research thrusts and large multi-divisional programs. Furthermore, he is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and teaches courses in Energy and Environmental Sustainability for both the School of Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences. For over 26 years, Dr. Sidhu has conducted and directed research in sustainable energy and environment. His research focus is to reduce pollution during energy generation, reduce energy consumption and investigate alternate energy technologies to replace fossil fuel-based technologies.
