Student Development: Counseling Center

Dawn Teel is the Counseling Center's Front Desk Specialist and she thrives on helping others. Previously, she worked for eighteen years in administrative roles and for seven years in public schools as a paraprofessional. These experiences shaped the passion for caring and positively influencing others that she brings to serving UD students. She approaches all aspects of any job with a positive attitude and a hard-working mindset, and she is passionate about finding solutions to any challenges.

In her free time, she dearly loves spending time with her family. She loves cheering on her three sons at their sporting events and spending time with them doing fun activities. She also enjoys traveling with her family, taking long walks, swimming, drawing, and spending time with friends.
