Szilvia Jenei, Psy.D. graduated from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology in 2014 and became a licensed Clinical Psychologist in 2016. She has practiced in a number of settings including college counseling, community mental health, Veteran’s Affairs, residential drug and alcohol treatment centers, and private practice. Her theoretical orientation is integrative with a ‘home base’ in Psychodynamic Theory while drawing from Feminism, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness for coping strategies which help individuals shift their relationship with their thoughts, feelings, and subsequently their behaviors. Her clinical interests include treating substance abuse, mood (depression/anxiety), and trauma (including Complex-PTSD), otherwise known as the ‘human condition.’ In her personal time, Szilvia enjoys hiking, practicing yoga and spending time with her two-year-old son.
