The University of Dayton has been a good place to me and I am so excited for the opportunity to return to work and engage with students in this role.
The transition to college is such an exciting and pivotal time but can feel overwhelming and stressful. These feelings are completely normal during times of transition. Myself and the staff of UDCC are here to support you throughout your time at the University of Dayton. Clinically, I work from an eclectic approach integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths Based Model, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have ample experience working with clients from historically underrepresented groups/BIPOC who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitions.
When not working, I am intentional about taking time to do things that bring me joy. Those things include resting, spending time and doing fun activities with my son, traveling internationally, trying new recipes, going on long walks, and listening to music.
