Alex Sheppard is a fourth year clinical psychology trainee at Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology working to obtain his PsyD. in clinical psychology. He received his bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in psychology from Wittenberg University in 2020, and his master’s in psychology from Wright State University in 2022. His professional interests include therapy and assessment with young and older adults. His clinical interests include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, empowerment/advocacy, and chronic health issues. His research interests include the intersection of mental health and chronic health issues, health psychology, and the effects of social class on mental health. In his personal time, Alex enjoys engaging in activities such as video games, soccer, volleyball, biking, hiking, and camping.
