Michele Jennings is the Special Collections Instruction Librarian and Assistant Professor at the University of Dayton’s Marian Library, where she develops and implements instructional opportunities with primary sources and the Marian Library’s collections, curates exhibits and programming, and liaises with faculty and students in history, English and the performing arts.

Research Interests
As an arts and special collections information worker, Michele researches and is interested in the ways that primary sources are used in creative disciplines, ways of knowing and researching for creative practitioners, and critical approaches to primary source instruction. Her recent art historical research focuses on West Coast modernism and settler colonialism in the built environment.
