Profile

Katie Armstrong is a proud graduate of University of Dayton School of Law. Prior to serving in the Assistant Director role within the Bar Passage Department, she served as an adjunct advisor and the academic legal services advisor to the Bar Department, on and off, since 2012.

In addition, Katie has experience in both the public and private sector. She worked as a staff attorney in the General Counsel’s Office for Premier Health, dealing primarily in healthcare law. She then turned her focus toward the public sector as Staff Attorney for the late Honorable Connie S. Price where her research and writing greatly varied.

As a student at the School of Law, she served as a staff writer for the University of Dayton Law Review. During this time, Professor Armstrong also worked as a law clerk for Magistrate David Fuchsman at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.

While not at work, Katie Armstrong enjoys spending time with her husband and mentoring as a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Miami Valley. She also enjoys reading, knitting and outdoor activities.
