Profile
Sangita serves as Senior Director in the Global and Intercultural Affairs (GIA) Center and oversees the Global Engagement and Global Partnerships team. In her role, she works collaboratively with colleagues to strategically direct and support campus internationalization through fostering faculty and staff engagement and development, providing guidance on UD’s community and global partnership engagement strategy, and promoting and enhancing global and intercultural learning inside and outside the classroom. She currently serves as Vice President of the Board for the Dayton Council on World Affairs.
Sangita’s background experience spans across international education, community and government relations, campus planning, community engagement and experiential learning, and leadership development. Prior to joining the University of Dayton she worked in Public Affairs, and the Dean’s Office in the Division of Student Development at Loyola University Chicago. She also has past experience working in the Office of Organizational Strategy and Change at Northwestern University.
