Profile

Ryan Allen is the Executive Director of the Center for Online Learning in the University of Dayton’s Ryan C. Harris Learning Teaching Center. He began working at UD in 2006. He has 17 years of experience working in the field of educational technology with a focus on distance education pedagogy and the use of Learning Management Systems. Ryan currently manages the development, training and support of the UD’s open source Learning Management System - Isidore.

Prior to his current position, Allen worked at Heidelberg University as the Associate Director of Information Technology from 2003-2006. Ryan received his undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration from Heidelberg University in 2003. He completed his Master of Business Administration from Heidelberg University in 2005. He also earned his Project Management Professional certification in 2013.
