Profile

Dr. Kostko's primary research is in philosophy of psychiatry and philosophy of science. He focuses on epistemological and ethical issues in psychiatric classification and neuroscience. He is an executive council member of the Association for the Advancement of Philosophy and Psychiatry, as well as a member of the American Philosophical Association and the American Association of Philosophy Teachers. Dr. Kostko received his Ph.D from the University of Cincinnati in 2013 and taught at Saginaw Valley State University and the University of Minnesota-Rochester before coming to the University of Dayton.
