The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory until noon Saturday for wind chills as low as nine below zero. As cold weather persists, the University wants to remind our community about tips for protecting yourself, your residences and your property, plus dealing with winter weather. These will be posted on UD's emergency preparedness and response page, along with updates on weather alerts, event cancellations and building closures.

Profile

My goal as an educator is to fuel social change and inspire personal growth by fostering students’ conviction in themselves as co-creators of history and knowledge. I encourage students to examine their presuppositions and place in the world, consider the diverse views and values of others – especially their classmates, and hone their problem-solving skills by thinking critically. I realize this goal by cultivating a democratic community of inquirers that is intellectually rigorous, experientially relevant, emotionally supportive and, ideally, liberating.
