What do you like most about your major?

I really enjoy being able to have the freedom to make my major my own. Being able to have the ability to look through available classes and pick and choose the areas that really pull my interest and take the courses that look deeper into them. It also allows for me to make my education my own, knowing what I want to do in life and the areas I want to work in and allowing my education to match that.

What do you love most about UD?

The opportunity to get involved in so many ways on campus. I truly believe that there is an organization for everyone on this campus. The vast differences between the opportunities on campus make it so that everyone, no matter their identity, can find a place of comfort within UD.

Have you ever studied abroad? If so, where and what did you learn most from that experience?

In the spring of 2023, I studied in Madrid, Spain. This experience really taught me the scope of the world that we live in and how important it is to get out of your comfort zone and push yourself in order to truly learn.

What piece of your academic journey has you most prepared to begin a career after graduation?

My volunteer work at Dayton Children's hospital, I feel, has been the most helpful in preparing me for the real world. It allowed me to get a real life look at what is going on beyond just the world within UD and how what I am learning here can be applied there.

What clubs/organizations are you involved in at UD?

  • Kappa Delta

Why did you choose UD?

I chose UD because, from the minute I stepped on campus, it felt like home. More than that, when I was navigating through my choice the people here made me feel like I was accepted no matter what decision I made. I was also extremely impressed with the responsiveness from the university that made me feel important and wanted and not just another number of incoming students.
