Profile

SFC King enlisted in the Army in 2006. His previous assignments include Fort Riley, Fort Benning, Fort Carson and the New Jersey Recruiting Battalion. SFC King has served as a Rifleman, Grenadier, Gunner, Team Leader, and Squad Leader, within a Light Infantry Battalion; Section Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant within a Mechanized Infantry Battalion. His broadening assignments include Army Recruiter. SFC King has deployed in support of Operation Iraq Freedom 06-07 and Operation Enduring Freedom 09-10.

SFC King’s awards include the Army Commendation Medal and 6 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal 7th award, Meritorious Unit Citation, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, Combat Infantryman Badge, Korea Defense Service Medal and a NATO Medal.
