We Believe in the Power of Community

The University of Dayton campus community is more than just a place to live. It is a welcoming, close-knit environment where we learn, serve, pray and play together.

As a top-tier Catholic, Marianist research university, we believe in the power of community, educating the whole person in a family spirit. In our diverse, inclusive community, you’ll find plenty of ways to get connected and make a difference.

We believe that community living is an essential learning experience. Our unique approach to residential learning offers you opportunities for personal and social growth while you build lifelong skills. That’s one reason more than 80% of students live on campus all four years in residence halls, apartments or our unique student neighborhood. Whether you live in a residence hall, live in a neighborhood of friends in one of our 500+ porch-clad houses or in a townhouse at ArtStreet, you’ll feel connected with the rest of your Flyer family.
