All University of Dayton students can receive free academic support services, including tutoring, writing consultations and guidance, supplemental instruction (SI) and disability services, through the Office of Learning Resources.

Are learning resources (like tutoring) free?

Yes. All learning resources, including tutoring, supplemental instruction and writing consultations, are free to UD students.

How do students request disability accommodations?

Students requesting academic or physical accommodations must complete an accommodation request form, submit documentation and meet with an access coordinator. Visit the Disability Services and Accommodations site for more details.

What academic resources are available to me understand course material?
The Office of Learning Resources offers free, one-on-one tutoring for many classes, and many departments on campus also offer learning support for their courses. Supplemental Instruction (SI), a nationally-recognized learning support program, is also available for select classes.
