At UD, your student won’t navigate the college journey alone. Every undergraduate is paired with a holistic advisor from day one — someone who gets to know the student and their goals and helps them build a personal support network, or Flight Crew, that may include faculty, staff, alumni and peers.
Earlier this month, we announced a historic $15 million gift that launched the public fundraising campaign to support the construction of a new School of Business Administration. The planned four-story, 153,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will be the new home for business education at UD.
UD is test-optional for admission, scholarship and honors program consideration, which gives students more control over their application. Students can choose to submit ACT or SAT scores if they believe the scores add value, or apply without scores and place greater emphasis on their academic record and other achievements.
The 2027-28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens for all students on Oct. 1. We encourage all students to file the FAFSA, even if you think you won’t qualify for federal aid. Many University-funded grants and awards require a FAFSA for eligibility. File as early as possible — some types of federal aid are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
