Transfer Student Financial Aid

As you make your transition to the University of Dayton, one of the first things you should know is that we are considered one of the most affordable options among comparable universities and colleges.

As a Catholic, Marianist University, our mission to be transparent means we want to position you for success. Our graduates leave with average student loan debt below the national average, and 95 percent of our students are employed, in graduate school or in a full-time volunteer program within six months of graduation.

Our transparent, fixed net tuition plan means the tuition you pay will stay the same each year. That means there are no surprises, so you can be confident in our costs and plan for success.

What else makes us affordable?
  • All full-time transfer students receive a $10,000 transfer scholarship.
  • More than 93 percent of our undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid.
  • Transfer students may be eligible for an Academic Excellence Award, based on combined cumulative college GPA:
